Ahead of the official launch, multiple reports in the last couple of days have already leaked quite a few specs and pictures of the upcoming Mi flagship. The company has also been teasing the device for a while. Now a retail package sticker and alleged presentation slides of the Mi 5 have also hit the interwebs.
Earlier reports had indicated that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be released in as many as four variants. The freshly leaked packaging label has revealed key specs of one of the Mi 5 variants. As per the leak, this particular model will offer a 5.15-inch full HD display, a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 820 processor, a 16MP rear snapper, a 4MP front shooter, a USB Type C port, and a 3,000mAh battery.
The leaked presentation slide is of a Mi 5 with a 5.2-inch full HD display. The base model of this edition will feature 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the top-end model will offer 4GB of RAM and 64-gigs of internal memory. The phone will come with a Snapdragon 820 SoC with Qualcomm 3.0 fast charging tech, a USB Type-C port, and a 26MP rear snapper with f/1.6 aperture.
Earlier leaks have suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 5’s price will start at around Rs 23,000, and will go up to around Rs 33,000, depending on the configuration. Needless to say, none of this has been confirmed, so it’s advisable to take the news with a pinch of salt.
